I like photographing people. Real people, paid people, paid people acting like real people.
And what I really love is capturing and creating a range of human emotions and experiences.
Funny, poignant, powerful, elegant, intimate, candid. I always hope to create images
with emotion and character.
After starting school with a music scholarship, I ended up in advertising design
and worked as an art director for several years. I started shooting to stretch lean budgets
and just kept going. I think my agency experience helps strengthen the concept
of a campaign, always keeping in mind the core message that the images need to convey.
And as for the music part, if there’s a piano nearby, I just might favor
you with a lovely jazz standard. Maybe.
